.) Use a lighter bike. Since you’re just starting out, it would make sense to buy a bike that’s easy for you to control. If you buy a bike that’s heavier than you, you might find it challenging to learn how to balance it. Lighter bikes are perfect for new riders if they decide to go on long solo rides. Why? Cause they can easily manage these bikes on their own in such situations. Also, ensure to buy a bike that you’re comfortable with. This means that you should be able to easily place both your feet on the ground when stationary and you should be able to reach the handlebars of the bike with ease.

.) More Practice. Remember to always practice riding. Start with empty streets and slowly move on to medium-traffic streets. The more you ride, the more confident you will become to go on longer and more challenging rides. You can also take various tests to see if your skills are up to the mark. If need be, approach a mentor who can guide you to becoming a better rider.

.) Always use safety gear when riding. Helmets are a necessity because they can save your life. The right attire while riding can minimize injuries, in case, someone meets with an accident. Jackets, gloves, and helmets are extremely useful.

.) Get the best anti-lock brakes. ABS is the standard braking system that most new bikes are already equipped it. But in case your bike doesn’t have it, make sure to install it on your bike, because there’s a reason that everyone praises this braking system.

.) Check the weather. Finally, when planning a motorcycle ride, try to check the weather first in your place. Riding a two-wheeler in bad weather is one of the stupidest things anyone can ever do. Avoid weather that makes it difficult for you to ride, especially when the roads get messy and you can’t see too well because of the rain or fog.

If you’re a new rider I hope you liked these points, if you’re a seasoned rider, then share these tips with someone that might benefit from this.
